The Oxford trainer was developed from the Envoy light transport and Airspeed successfully converted surplus Oxfords to similar standards as Consuls after the war. Ex LX599, this one wears a Monaco registration and Monte Carlo Airways titles on the nose, but was never delivered to this company. It became G-AJAX instead and ended up in Israel.
