This Skyraider is thought to have fought in Korea with the USN's VC-35 between 1952 and 1953, before coming into service with the Armée de l'Air, France which received 133 from USN stocks. Stored at Châteaudun till the end of 1975, it was delivered to the Chad with five other Skyraiders by ex-French Air Force pilots to fight the Libyans who had infiltrated Chad. Abandoned at N'Djamena airport, it was rescued and flown back by AMPAA members in 1988 with stops in Niger, Algeria and Morocco to its new base at Melun-Villaroche and is maintained in its 1974 EAA1/22 marks.
