Cancelled from the register in May 1951. This early production aircraft was fitted with a LeBlond radial. Bellanca soon switched to a Ranger horizontally-opposed engine. Production was interrupted by World War II. Continual refinement the 14-9 after the war eventually evolved into the Bellanca Viking of 1967.
