The L-2 was not used in combat or sent overseas during WWII, rather only used for liaison pilot training. it went to the Air Mobility Museum at Dover AFB on 13/11/15. It was replaced on display by 43-26592, which was ferried to the NMUSAF on 28/9/11. -26592 is marked as -26588 which was based at Atkinson airport. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
