The Paraplane used the "Vacuplane principle" in which the airflow was directed through wing slots to reduce pressure over the upper wing area, thus allowing slow flight and STOL performance. Redesigned as the Paraplane II in 1953. Registration cancelled in 1958. The slogan on the side says "Every field an airport".
