The pristine condition of the C-46 would indicate this is at Buffalo where it was built for the Republic of China air force under lend-lease (USAAF 44-78627). Suffered a minor accident at Dakar on delivery. Repaired, it flew on to Cairo where it was damaged beyond repair on September 10, 1945.
