Four Italian Starfighters visited Eindhoven air base (the Netherlands) for a squadron exchange with 314sq Redskins, which was operating the NF-5A/B. The quartet Starfighters, arrived from homebase Grazzanise and were assigned to 10°Gruppo. This F-104S was built by by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia as an F-104S. It was converted to ASA-M (Modificato) standard by Alenia in 1997 and was redelivered after conversion in 1999. It was stored at its homebase since early 2004.
