Four Italian Starfighters visited Eindhoven air base (the Netherlands) for a squadron exchange with 314sq Redskins, operating the NF-5A/B. The quartet, arrived from homebase Grazzanise and were assigned to 10°Gruppo. This F-104S was built by by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia as an F-104S. It was withdrawn from use by April 2001 and is currently preserved on a birreria (an Italian beer-house) in Castello di Godego in the north eastern part of Rome.
