This A-7A was being offloaded from USS Midway for shipment back to the United States. It was transferred to MASDC in November 1977 from VA-125. Later it was converted to an A-7P and sent to the Portuguese Air Force as 5524. It is currently on display at Monte Real Air Base, Portugal.
