This is clearly a J3 Cub but the FAA lists a totally different type, a microlight that has been on the register since 2007. A J3C-65 carrying this registration was involved in a fatal accident at Jacks Creek Tennessee on 22nd August 1967 when the aircraft was recorded as being damaged beyond repair.
