Tragically this aircraft was destroyed and the pilot killed when it crashed near the disused Radlett Airfield in Hertfordshire on 15th March 1986. The aircraft had been seen performing aerobatics in company with Tipsy Nipper G-ASZV with some witnesses reporting that the two aircraft had been flying "dog-fighting" manoeuvres.
