This JS3 was on display inside the National Naval Aviation Museum as part of a glider and soaring information day. It is not part of the museum aircraft collection. It is equipped with a small turbojet engine on top of the fuselage just behind the wings. This is a sustainer engine used only in flight that can add around 150 kilometers of extra range.
