This aircraft was delivered to the Czechoslovak air force in 1965. In 1982, it was converted to an ejection seat testbed and used as such by the VZLÚ until 1991, when it was placed in storage. After it was retired from service in 1997, it eventually ended up on outdoor display at the former steel works in the Dolní Vitkovice district of Ostrava and was painted in a very garish red, blue and yellow scheme.
