This Bulldog made its first flight on 28 March 1975 and was delivered to the RAF as XX691 on 18 April 1975. The trainer was sold to Malta and departed British soil on 13 February 2000. The aircraft was assigned to Air Squadron/2nd Regiment and carried registration 9H-ADQ. That registration was cancelled on 1 May 2000 and the Bulldog became AS0020. The Bulldog was written off on 5 August 2007 when it suffered an uncontrolled stall. It crash landed in an uncultivated field near Dwejra in Gozo. Both pilots survived the crash.
