Delivered to Swissair in 1973 as HB-IHC this DC-10 was bought by Northwest Airlines in 1991 and flew for another 20 years for this airline until it was wfu in December 2001. Maxton based Charlotte Aircraft Corporation eventually bought the airframe and registered it as N220PR although this registration wasn't noted on the aircraft when this picture was taken.
