Ready for departure to Jordan, former Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) Fighting Falcon serial J-654 was sold to the Royal Jordanian Air Force, 1 sq. It was handed over to Jordan on 27 July and departed for the Middle East on 28 July. J-654 was delivered as F-16B to the KLu on 22 August 1983. It was modified to BM (Mid Life Update) in the 1998/1999 timeframe and exprecienced on 26 Oct'00 a landing mishap at Volkel AB after its gear collapsed. The aircraft was repaired at Woensdrecht and returned to service in Jan'02.
