Started up for its departure to Jordan, former Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) Fighting Falcon serial J-269 was sold to the Royal Jordanian Air Force, 1 sq. It was handed over to Jordan on 27 July and departed for the Middle East on 28 July. J-269 was delivered as F-16B to the KLu on 22 August 1983. It was modified to BM (Mid Life Update) in the 1999/2000 timeframe. The Fighting Falcon served quite a long time (1990-1994) as a trainer with the 148th FS "ÄZ" within the Arizona ANG from Tucson.
