Built in 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sold to the Curtiss Flying Service of Delaware and used by them largely for crop dusting being registered briefly as NR997E for this purpose. Sold in 1932 to the Eagle Aircraft Company of North Carolina who subsequently sold it in 1942 to a Florida based owner who once again converted it for use as a crop duster. Last flown circa 1955 and then spent many years in storage in California before being restored in a project that ran from 1978 until the aircraft flew again in 2006.
