The 1TFW is using the K-8 as its advanced jet trainer. The SLAF is currently operating with eight such aircraft, four others were written off through the years. Due to low budgets, none of the SLAF-8s were operational at the moment this picture was taken. This SJT-740 is former serial SJT-1801. During a fine 4Aviation tour, this K-8 was seen with two others on the platform of its homebase China Bay.
