FMS serial 66-8553 was delivered to the Royal Air Force as XV203 and assigned to the Lyneham Transport Wing (LTW) on 25 August 1967. It was converted to Hercules C1K in 1982 and stroed at Marshalls at Cambrdige from February 1999. The Herk was sold to Sri Lanka as CR880 and delivered on 6 September 2000. It was reregistered to SCH-3402 and later to SCH-880. It is assigned within the SLAF to No.2 Heavy Transport Wing.
