This TriStar was originally delivered to ANA as JA8503 in February 1974. It joined Air Lanka in March 1983 and is pictured taxiing on to stand after arriving from Colombo (VCBI). It later was transferred over to SriLankan in July 1999 but was wfu and stored at Abu Dhabi (AUH) in April 2000 and scrapped in 2003. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
