This MD-82 was originally delivered to New York Air as N806NY in August 1984 and was then incorporated into Continental in February 1987 after the merger and became N16806 in January 1991. The plane was wfu in January 2005, ferried to Goodyear (GYR) for storage and was eventually scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
