This Il-62 was built in February 1992 and was first noted with Orient Avia in May 1995. The company filed for bankruocy in July 1997 and, after a period in storage, was sold to Kazan Aviation Production Association (KAPO). It became the third Il-62 converted to be a freighter (Il-62MGr). After flying for KAPO it joined Manas Airways (as EX-62001) in February 2016 and Rada Airlines (as EW-505TR) and was still active as late as August 2023. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
