On 10th August 2010, whilst on a flight from Turweston to Weston in Ireland, the aircraft entered cloud near Banbury, Oxfordshire, the pilot became disorientated and deployed the ballistic recovery parachute. Initially judged to be damaged beyond economic repair, the aircraft was later repaired, rebuilt to SR20-G2 standard and placed on the British register as G-CHPG.
