This Fighting Falcon was delivered to the Luftforsvaret on 29 September 1983 and was withdrawn from service in January 2022. It is seen here equipped with a live IRIS-T air-to-air missile (InfraRed Imaging System Tail/Thrust Vector-Controlled). The Norwegians were quite secretive with the medium-range infrared homing air-to-air missile at the time of the picture. The F-16AM arrived for preservation at Bodø Museum on 28 February 2022.
