Seen visiting East Midlands on a cold winters day. Operated by the Royal Aircraft Establishment and based at Thurleigh near Bedford.. First flight 11 Dec 1958 as G-APDF. Delivered to BOAC on 31 Dec 1958. To the MOD as XV814 on 01 Mar 1967 and operated by the RAE. Scrapped Aug 1997 at Boscombe Down. The nose has been preserved.
