Later converted to C-123K and loaned to the South Vietnam AF, then returned to USAF. I don't have a shot of the NACA B-29 45-21800 in the background, but sure wish I did. It was used as the mothership for the Bell X-1A/B trials. This photo was added on 16 November 2023, and has since been viewed 409 times. |
