This unmarked North Korean trainer is a Chinese version of the Yak-18, a Nanchang BT-5. The Nanchang BT-5 still is the main trainer in the North Korean Air Force, with the 8th Aviation Training Division of the Kimcha'ek Air Force Academy operating the type from Chongjin AB.
