Aircraft crashed on 2 December 1991 following engine icing problems, at Élancourt, some 15 km west of Villacoublay Air Base. The airplane struck the concrete barrier of tennis courts located along the RN10 highway, bounced and crashed and caught fire. The four crew did not escape and lost their lives. By then the aircraft was equipped with a long "Mirage 2000N" radar nose and wore military markings and code "339-WP".
