This was Lufthansa's first 747 and a very early build aircraft at line number 12. To the left is G-AWNK Boeing 747-136 of British Airways still in BOAC colours. In the back ground is an El Al 707, two C-5A Galaxy's and two C-141A Starlifters plus some C-130 Hercules from the USAF. To Lufthansa as D-ABYA on 10 Mar 1970. To Braniff as N610BN 29 Nov 1978. To VIASA as N480GX on 12 Jul 1982. To Egyptair on 15 May 1983. To Tranamerica as N780T in May 1984. To Tower Air as N603FF on 22 Nov 1985. Lsd to Saudia 10 Apr 1996 and by 26 Aug 1998 back to Tower Air. Ceased ops 10 Oct 2000 B/U by Oct 2001.
