RAF Halton Open Day 1978. 1 SoTT - 1 School of Technical Training. Still in former 115 Squadron markings as XR140. It was retired to Halton on 10 Feb 1978 from its duties as a runway calibration aircraft and has not had its maintenance M number applied so far. Delivered to the RAF on 05 Nov 1963 as an Argosy C1 and later converted to an E1. Later broken up with the fuselage going to the Nesscliffe training area, Shropshire on 18 Jun 1988.
