This aircraft was assigned to 146AW/115AS California Air National Guard at Channel Islands ANGB (hence the tail band) next to Point Mugu NAS near Oxnard. It arrived at the unit in 1980 and was based at Van Nuys ANGB which closed in 1990 before moving to Channel Islands ANGB. It went to AMARC in 2004 and was scrapped in 2021.
