The Xingu was not very successful by Embraer's current standards. A protoype and 108 series aircraft were built. Of the 51 exported, 41 went to the French air force and navy. No 103 was originally delivered to the navy in 1986. The French air force received the last Xingu off the line, No 111, in 1987. Construction numbers 121106, 121109 and 121110 do not exist.
