The "Waterbomber" titles on the rear fuselage were applied because this aircraft regularly gave impressive waterbombing demonstrations at various airshows in the 1990s. Il-76s can easily be configured for waterbombing operations. This Ilyushin was eventually written off at Pointe Noire, Congo Republic on 10 May 2007, when it caught fire during loading. It was registered EX-093 at the time.
