This MD-82 was delivered to U-Land Airlines as B-88888 in 1996. It was used by this Taiwanese carrier and four others in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar for fairly short periods before going to GMG of Bangladesh in 2006. This company ceased flying in 2012 and the Mad Dog was put in storage at Dhaka, then only 16 years old. It still sat there ten years later in 2022, still owned by GMG.
