Livery representing the aircraft of Col. M. W. "Bud" Mahurin, who shot down enemies over both Europe and the Pacific in the Second World War, and was a POW in the Korean War. He flew 60 missions in Korea with the 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing and claimed 3.5 kills before being shot down by ground fire in May 1952.
