At the time of this photograph fixed wing aircraft were allowed to land inside the Silverstone race circuit on what was one of the old WWII runways, and the Trislander had brought in passengers to attend the 1985 British F1 Grand Prix which was held there on the day. The aircraft was re-registered G-OCME on 14th May 1986, but was written off in a forced landing on 9th February 1987 when the engines lost power due to fuel starvation whilst on approach to Liverpool Airport. Note the Fuji Film airship in the upper part of the photo, the 2 lower objects were tethered advertising balloons.
