East German AF 870 was destined to be exported to Iran. It was one of three MiG-21PF and one MiG-21U ready for delivery in 1990. These were prepared for export in Dresden, but when the re-unification came the deal fell through. 3-0914 went to Italy, the other three were scrapped.
