Carrying out training at Prestwick as AVRO06. Initiating a go-around from an approach to Runway 13. Converted from the 1968-built Nimrod MR2 XV234 as the second development aircraft for the ill-fated Nimrod MRA4 project which, against a background of steeply rising costs and emerging technical issues, was cancelled in the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review.
