The DT torpedo bomber won Douglas its first military contract, beating the Fokker FT (T.II). This photo is captioned 'Navy plane off USS Wright' and was perhaps taken in December 1927 when the seaplane tender Wright visited Boston. The last DT apparently served until 1928.
