This giant is a former Sikorsky test airframe, used as such in 1995 to mid-1996. It was then delivered to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 769 '"Titan". The reserve squadron was based at Edwards and fell under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 46 (MAG-46) and the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (4th MAW). HMH-769 was deactivated on 2 August 2008.
