This Il-18 was originally delivered in the early sixties to the East German AF as '493' but was soon passed on to Interflug, with which it served until wfu in October 1986. Fortunately it has been saved from the axeman and has now been converted into a luxury hotel suite at Teuge airport owned by Hotelsuites.nl This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
