VH-CGL was registered for five months, from May 14, 1981 until it crashed near Healesville, Victoria, on October 23. The pilot and three passengers, who were killed, were overseas visitors on an aerial safari when they flew into rain and low cloud. It took searchers two months to find the wreckage.
