On final approach to land on Runway 13 at Prestwick, arriving as CFC4139. Delivered new in 1988 as C-FWDX for Wardair Canada, which was absorbed by Canadian Airlines in 1989. Leased to Compass Airlines as VH-YMI for the second half of 1991. Joined the Canadian Armed Forces at the end of 1992. Painted in special "Retro" colours in November 2018. Seriously damaged in a ground collision with a stationary A400M at Guam in July 2023 and subsequently written off. This photo is copyright © David A.
