Taken on charge in August 1968 and served in Vietnam aboard the USS Coral Sea and USS Hancock. Later served with VMA-223 at Cherry Point, VC-7 at Miramar and VF43 at Oceana. Assigned to the Blue Angels in c1980 and assigned to the museum in 1986. Currently displayed indoors as Blue Angels '3' as part of a four ship formation.
