Crop of original photo with an H-5G, 48-528 on the right. According to the original caption, the Skymaster was transporting troops from this undisclosed airbase to a more advanced airbase. Later converted to HC-54D rescue aircraft. Assigned to 57th ARS, Lajes, Azores, it collided with a HC-97G, 52-2773, during filming and crashed into the sea off Bermuda on 29 July 1964.
