The last Reliant. This one-off V-77B, fitted with a 450-hp R-985 engine, has construction number 501, so it followed on the production batch of 500 military V-77s that mostly went to Britain. Apparently it was tested by the US Navy at NAS Patuxent River. 62 other V-77s, returned by Britain in 1945, were allocated BuNo serials, but none seem to have served in the USN.
