Carolina Air Care is an air ambulance provider serving North Carolina with bases in Burlington, Aberdeen, Goldsboro and Rocky Mount, with helicopters operated by Air Methods. The program was established in 1986 as an extension of the University of North Carolina Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center located in Chapel Hill.
