Photo probably taken at the first airshow in the United States. Frenchman Louis Paulhan was a star aviator and was paid $25,000 to appear with two Farman III and two Blériot XI planes and two other pilots. The Wright Brothers did not take part but were around to sue both Paulhan and Curtiss as the Wrights had patented the aileron.
