This aircraft was damaged in a landing accident in April 1987. After repairs she went to 9 Squadron as AY. After conversion to Tornado GR4 she suffered another accident when the crew ejected during landing on 10 February 2011. As withdrawal of the Tornado type was imminent it was initially declared damaged beyond repair, but later deemed repairable and returned to service after two Tornado trainers were lost in a mid air collision.
